I. SPORT GENERAL TERMS
These Sport Term & Conditions apply to all pre-match and live sportbetting on any sport and/or market, through any sportbetting channels made available by betgr8, unless stated otherwise for or in addition to any type of sport sportbetting and/or any specific sport.
The minimum stake in local currency is 10.00 kes or 50.00 naira or 5.00 ETB or $1 USD dollar or €1 EUR, according to the local currency of the player account, and may vary at all times.
The minimum stake for Partial Cashout to be enabled in local currency is 20.00 kes or 100 naira or 10.00 ETB or $2 USD dollar or €2 EUR, according to the local currency of the player account.
A sportbet is not valid until a transaction code has been issued by betgr8 prior to the sportbetting event. All sportbets that have not been confirmed before the start of the sportbetting event by the issuance of a code will be considered void. The printed version or a photo of a sportbet that has not yet been confirmed by betgr8 will not be considered as a valid receipt. betgr8 only recognizes sportbets that appear as confirmed on the sportbet list of the sportbetting account, clearly shown in MY SPORTBET LIST of the player account. Sportbets which do not directly appear on betgr8’s server, are not valid. If you are unsure about the validity of a sportbet, please check your Account or contact our Customer Service.
It is up the Customer’s sole responsibility to verify that the number of sportbets placed and the amount staked are coherent with his will before confirming the sportbet. Once confirmed, the sportbet cannot be changed or cancelled by the Customer. All odds are subject to changes. Only the odds indicated by betgr8 in the sportbet receipt are deemed as valid.
Betgr8 has the right to refuse, accept or partially accept the sportbet amount. Furthermore, betgr8 has the right to cancel all accepted sportbets before the sportbetting event begins without any explanation. In such cases, a communication informing the Customer of the cancellation of the sportbet will be sent to the Customer’s registered email address or a text message or a private message will be sent to the Account.
In case of irregularities impacting upon the outcome of a sportbetting event (e.g. team playing with youth squad because of strike/protest/illness etc.), betgr8 has the right to declare the whole sportbetting event void even after the event has taken place.
It is possible to place single as well as multiple sportbets. Multiple sportbets, which combine different selections within the same event or within different events, are not accepted if the outcome of one affect or is affected by the outcome of the other, unless special odds are offered for the combined eventuality. Where such a sportbet is accidentally accepted, because of human or technical error, betgr8 reserves the right to void part of or the whole of the sportbet.
All the information, dates and timings published by betgr8 are purely indicative. If the time or date of a sportbetting event is brought forward, all sportbets placed before the beginning of the event and confirmed by betgr8 shall be considered valid, whereas sportbets placed after will be considered void. In case of multiple sportbets, only the selection related to the sportbet placed after the beginning of the event will be voided and such multiple sportbet will remain valid even if the minimum number of sportbetting events is below the minimum required.
Unless otherwise stated in these Sport Terms & Conditions for certain sports/sportbet typologies, if an event does not take place in the expected venue, or if one of the teams (for team sports) or one of the participants (for individual sports) does not coincide with those originally scheduled for the match betgr8 reserves the right to void all related sportbets.
The team/player displayed on the left side is considered to be the home team/player and the one displayed to the right is considered to be playing away. If a match takes place in a neutral venue, the displaying order of the teams/players will be irrelevant.
If a home team, for whatsoever reason, chooses to play on some venue other than their official one, it will be still considered as the home team.
Unless otherwise stated in these Sport Terms & Conditions for certain sports/sportbet typologies, the outcome of a sportbet is based on the result achieved on the game field. Following decisions taken by disciplinary, sports or legal bodies and affecting or amending the result achieved on the game field will not be taken into consideration.
In the event of equal position/result of two or more competitors, the winnings will be computed dividing the original odds accepted by the number of competitors that share the same result. If, for example, two competitors whose price is 2.80 and 1.90 share the same result (they are both declared winners) the resulting prices will be: 1.4 (2.80/2) and 0.95 (1.90/2).
Only 2 (two) sportbets may be accepted by betgr8 under the same Account on the identical events/markets selection (the “Identical Sportbets”). The Identical Sportbet means a single sportbet and/or a multiple sportbet and/or a combination-system of a single sportbet and a multiple sportbet, which has the same selections within the same event and/or different selections that have the same outcome, even if the stake is different. Without prejudice to any of the rights granted to betgr8 hereunder in relation to the sportbets, betgr8 reserves the right to void any Identical Sportbet that is placed in excess of the initial 2 (two) Identical Sport bets, even if such sportbets have been accepted by betgr8 due to human or technical error, and regardless of the outcome of such sportbet.
If identical sportbets are placed, any sportbet which winning exceeds the daily payout, will be made void.
If an event is not offered with the market “Any Other”, betgr8 reserves the right to add new participants at any time after the publication of the initial list, including eventually requests by the Customers.
Yes/No Outcome
In the info explanation of a market, we will show the winning outcome if YES is selected. The opposite outcome is NO. Only one of the selections has a winning outcome: yes or no.
The Customer has an obligation to inform betgr8 as soon as possible of any amount wrongly credited on his/her Account. Without limiting betgr8’s rights granted under the General Terms and Conditions or in law, betgr8 may at any time set off any positive balance resulting from the erroneous operation, as well as cancel possible sportbets or transactions made with the erroneously credited funds.
Neither we (including our employees or agents) nor our partners or suppliers are liable for any loss resulting from any error made. Sportbets placed in order to cover flawed sportbets will stand valid if not impaired by errors.
Additional or new markets may be made available by betgr8 from time to time. It is the responsibility of the Customer to read the respective “Market Rules” applicable before placing any sportbets.
All winning sportbets may be subject to taxes and levies imposed and levies shall be retained by betgr8 and paid over on behalf of the player as may be required by applicable law.
Betgr8 reserves the right to withhold payment and to declare sportbets on an event void if we have evidence that the following has occurred: (i) the integrity of the event has been called into question; (ii) the price(s) or pool has been manipulated; or (iii) match rigging has taken place. Evidence of the above may be based on the size, volume or pattern of sportbets placed with betgr8 across any or all of our sportbetting channels. A decision given by the relevant governing body of the sport in question (if any) will be conclusive.
Where there is evidence of a series of sportbets each containing the same selection(s) having been placed by or for the same individual or syndicate of individuals, betgr8 reserves the right to make sportbets void or withhold payment of returns pending the outcome of any subsequent investigation.
Betgr8 operates the following limits:
- maximum winning per sportbet (the “sportbet payout’)
- maximum cumulative winnings per day (the “daily payout”)
- maximum limits per sport (the “daily sport limit”)
The lowest Limit will apply according to the type of sport is played. If the Customer has withdrawn the amounts obtained through any of the sportbets that have been void for the reasons listed below and/or pursuant to any terms of the General Terms and Conditions or individual Sport Rules, without limiting betgr8’s rights to recover such funds granted hereunder or in law, betgr8 reserves the right to set off the respective sum from the Account or from any amount that may be validly due to the Customer from betgr8.
1 The maximum limit per sportbet (single sportbet, multiple sportbet or system/combined sportbet)
The maximum total winning (final payout) per sportbet is 2,560,000 kes or 15,000,000 naira or 1,500,000 ETB or $15,000 USD dollars or €15,000 EUR gross winning (including the stake), according to the local currency of the player account. If the maximum winning exceeds this amount, any exceeding winnings will be adjusted accordingly.
The lowest limit between the “sportbet payout’ the “daily payout“ and the “daily sport limit“ will apply.
2 The maximum cumulative winnings per day (the “daily payout”)
The maximum cumulative winnings for betgr8 within any given 24-hour period (from 00:00 to 23:59:59 UTC time - Universal Time Coordinated) will not exceed 3,000,000 kes or 20,000,000 naira or 2,560,000 birr (ETB) or $20,000 USD dollars or €20,000 EUR gross winning, including the stake, according to the local currency of the player account (the “daily payout”). If the cumulative daily winnings on all betgr8 sport tickets exceeds this amount, any exceeding winnings will be adjusted accordingly, and any subsequent winnings on each sportbet will be adjusted accordingly and made void.
The Customer will not have the right to receive the winnings exceeding the maximum limit per day whether or not the Customer was notified at the time of placing their sportbets. In the event the potential winnings shown in the sportbetslip exceed the amount of the maximum winning per day, the Customer will have the right to receive the winnings as indicated in the sportbet slip only and in any event, up to the maximum winning per day per user.
The lowest limit between the “daily payout“ and the “daily sport limit“ will apply.
Betgr8 reserves the right to vary the maximum winning per day per user at any time by publishing the new limit on its website.
3 The maximum limits per day per sport (the “daily sport limit”)
Each sport is subject to the maximum winning per 24-hour period as listed below (the “Daily Limit” being from 00:00 to 23:59:59 UTC time - Universal Time Coordinated). The Daily Limit is inclusive of the original stake and applies per Customer or group of Customers, whether a sportbetting syndicate or Customers acting together, or household, who have placed sportbets containing the same selections, including where placed in a series of sportbets, at a range of prices, over one or different days, using one or multiple Accounts and/or across different sportbetting channels. Should betgr8 have any reason to believe that a number of sportbets have been placed this way, the total payment of all such sportbets combined will be limited to one single maximum winning payout. Daily Limit is subject to change. The Customer/s will not have the right to receive the winnings exceeding the maximum limit per day whether or not the Customer/s was/were notified at the time of placing their sportbets.
The lowest Daily sport Limit will apply where a multiple sportbet is placed involving events with different Daily sport Limits.
Betgr8 reserves all of its rights under Clause V (10) of the General Terms and Conditions, but not limited by or to the same, in relation to any and all sportbets and/or Account activity.
Daily sport Limit A: 2,560,000 kes or 15,000,000 naira or 1,500,000 ETB or $15,000 USD dollars or €15,000 EUR gross winning (including the stake), according to the local currency of the player account, is the daily limit for the following sports:
Soccer: English Premier League, Championship, League 1, League 2, FA Cup, Spanish La Liga / Primera Division, Italian Serie A, German Bundesliga I, French Ligue 1, UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League, Scottish Premiership, Portuguese Primeira Liga, Dutch Eredivisie, Belgian First Division A, Turkish Super League, Japanese J-League, Australian A-League, Finnish Veikkausliiga, USA MLS, Copa Libertadores, Norwegian Tippeligaen / Eliteserien , Brazilian Serie A, Argentinian SuperLiga.
Tennis: Atp Slam, WTA Slam;
Basket: NBA;
Baseball: MLB,
Ice Hockey: NHL,
American Football: NFL.
Daily sport Limit B: 1,280,000 kes or 7,500,000 naira or 750,000 ETB or $7,500 USD dollars gross or €7,500 EUR winning (including the stake), according to the local currency of the player account, is the daily limit for the following sports:
For all other Sports (e.g. Tennis, Basket etc.), other Soccer Competitions, Antepost, Soccer Specials, Soccer Players, Basket Players.
